(670 The Score) A concession stand fire inside of Wrigley Field was extinguished by the Chicago Fire Department on Thursday, a team spokesperson said.

The area where the fire started was in the upper deck on the right-field side of the press box. There was no damage to the press box, though there was "considerable" damage to the concession stand area, the Sun-Times reported. No injuries were reported, and the cause was still being investigated.

Reports of the fire came a little after 2 p.m. Thursday. A machine at the Jim Beam food stand on the fifth floor began burning, a fire department spokesman told the Tribune.

The Cubs had an off day Thursday. They open a three-game series at the White Sox on Friday afternoon. Their next home game is Monday, when they host the Pirates.
