(670 The Score) We're taking a look at overvalued and undervalued players in fantasy football to help you get ready for your drafts.

Listen to your team news NOW.

We recently evaluated quarterbacksrunning backs, receivers and tight ends, and now we're diving into defenses.

OVERVALUED

Chargers  -- I was high on the Chargers' defense, but with the loss of star safety Derwin James, it takes a significant hit. He’ll start the season on injured reserve due to a stress fracture, and his loss can't be overstated. The Chargers' strength of schedule is in the middle of the pack, and their early season schedule sets up nicely through the first four weeks. But as the current D/ST7, it’s likely someone is going to pull the trigger on them before I would.

Chiefs -- The Chiefs lost key pass rushers Dee Ford and Justin Houston this offseason and added two impact players in defensive end Frank Clark and safety Tyrann Mathieu. Part of the worry here is the team's offense scores so many points so quickly that the defense will be on the field often. For fantasy defenses, there are also pros to an offense scoring as much as the Chiefs' does. It puts pressure on opposing teams to have to score, sometimes creating a one-dimensional offense. But the Chiefs' pass defense wasn't a strength in 2018 and still isn't. With the Chiefs having the 15th-ranked D/ST, I don't see the upside and would prefer the likes of the Falcons, Packers and Panthers. It should be noted the Chiefs are a good streaming option though, especially when home.

Other overvalued defenses: Seahawks, Ravens

UNDERVALUED

Packers -- The Packers have one of the sneakiest D/STs in fantasy this year. They've invested heavily in their pass rush and their pass defense as they aim to make major improvements to one of the worst defenses of the last couple of years. Cornerbacks Jarie Alexander and Justin Jackson each have a year of experience under the belts after they looked good as rookies in 2018. The Packers added speed rusher Rashan Gary at No. 12 overall in the first round versatile safety Darnell Savage Jr. at No. 21. The Packers also added key free agents in safety Adrian Amos, linebacker Za'Darius Smith and linebacker Preston Smith, all of whom should help catapult their D/ST to a top-12 ranking. Their current ADP is D/ST20.

Bills -- The Bills' defense faces one of the easiest schedules this season, and it's already buzzing around the field in the preseason. The Bills added arguably the best defensive player in this draft class in defensive tackle Ed Oliver, while linebacker Tremaine Edmunds will build off his star season as a rookie in 2018. They also have one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in Tre’Davious White, and the rest of the supporting cast is above average. This defense should put a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks and create turnovers for fantasy points. On top of that, the Bills were second in yards allowed per game (294.1) in 2018, and they've only improved. They're currently ranked as the D/ST12.

Other undervalued defenses: Falcons, Saints
