They started by discussing Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks' rough outing in a loss to the Reds on Wednesday evening. Other topics were White Sox closer Alex Colome's shaky ninth inning in a win against the Indians, who's the most reliable reliever in Chicago, right-hander Lucas Giolito's ace-like performance, Bears coach Matt Nagy acknowledging that Nick Foles is at a disadvantage in the quarterback competition and Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly drawing an eight-game suspension for throwing near the heads of the Astros.
