Mully & Haugh: Mitchell Trubisky nearing full health? 5@5 (Hour 1)

Mully & Haugh Show
Thursday, October 10th
Mike Mulligan and David Haugh opened their show by conducting the daily 5 at 5 segment, which began with a discussion about the Bears' move to to cut third-string quarterback Tyler Bray and re-sign tight end Bradley Sowell on Wednesday. Is that an indication that quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is close to returning from his left shoulder injury or a sign that another move is coming? The guys then discussed speculation by former NFL defensive end Chris Long that the Bears would let Trubisky go in 2020. The comment by Long was made on the Ryen Rusillo Podcast. The morning crew also discussed whether the Dodgers' elimination from the postseason could affect the Cubs' managerial search and whether the Cardinals erred by keeping right-hander Jack Flaherty in for 104 pitches over six innings in the team's 13-1 win to eliminate the Braves in Game 5 of the National League Division Series on Wednesday. Finally, the guys discussed whether the White Sox should pursue Red Sox star J.D. Martinez if he opts out of his contract with Boston.
