Mully & Haugh: Charles Leno Jr.'s penalty problem, 5@5 (Hour 1)

Mully & Haugh Show
Wednesday, October 9th
Mike Mulligan and David Haugh opened their show by conducting the daily 5 at 5 segment, which began with a discussion about Bears left tackle Charles Leno Jr. leading the NFL with eight penalties. How much of a priority should it be for the Bears to make sure Leno reduces those mistakes? The guys then discussed whether the Bears play in the best division in the NFC before discussing who among the four first-round draft picks selected by general manager Ryan Pace has been his best selection: receiver Kevin White, linebacker Leonard Floyd, quarterback Mitchell Trubisky or linebacker Roquan Smith? The morning crew also discussed whether the Astros erred in starting 36-year-old right-hander Justin Verlander on short rest in a loss to the Rays in Game 4 of the American League Division Series on Wednesday. Finally, the guys discussed whether the Cubs should wait until the Astros are done with the postseason to interview bench coach Joe Espada or name their next manager as soon as possible.
