Mike Mulligan and David Haugh conducted the daily 5 at 5 segment, which began with a discussion about Bears coach Matt Nagy's comments regarding the possibility of the team picking up quarterback Mitchell Trubisky's fifth-year option. Nagy told ESPN's NFL Live, "It's sequential for us, so that's something that can happen here in a few months." If Trubisky's option isn't picked up by Chicago, how would he fare in a prove-it year? The guys then reacted to Ohio State defensive end Chase Young proclaiming he's the best player in the NFL Draft. Can Young have a Nick Bosa-style impact in the league? They also shared their thoughts on Washington coach Ron Rivera -- whose team holds the No. 2 pick -- meeting with both LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The morning crew then reacted to the announcement that YouTube TV will drop all Fox regional sports networks and the YES Network after failing to reach a carriage deal with the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Sinclair is the Cubs' partner in the new Marquee Sports Network. Does that effectively end the dream of Marquee being carried on YouTube TV? Is it possible the Marquee issue with YouTube TV and Comcast is actually a Sinclair problem? Later, the guys shared their feelings on the vibe coming out of White Sox training camp and debated whether Bulls guard Coby White is the most promising young athlete in Chicago sports. (2/28/20)
