Mike Mulligan and David Haugh conducted their daily 5 at 5 segment, which began with a discussion about the game-winning home run hit by rookie Eloy Jimenez in the White Sox's 3-1 victory over the Cubs on Tuesday. Was that the biggest home run of his season? The guys then had a conversation about the White Sox becoming the first MLB team to choose to extend protective netting to the foul poles before discussing whether the Cubs made the correct decision in announcing right-hander Tyler Chatwood will start in place of injured right-hander Kyle Hendricks on Thursday. The morning crew also discussed whether they think closer Craig Kimbrel is ready to join the Cubs' big league roster after pitching a perfect inning with Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday. Finally, the guys discussed reporting that the Bulls --who have the No. 7 overall pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday -- are interested in Vanderbilt point guard Darius Garland. (6/19/19)
