(670 The Score) As is tradition, the members of the McNeil & Parkins crew are placing a few MLB wagers among themselves with an eye on the local clubs.

The quartet has split along the party lines of its fandom, with host Danny Parkins and executive producer Nick Shepkowski backing the Cubs and host Dan McNeil and soundman Chris Tannehill teaming up together on the White Sox.

At stake is the tab at a show dinner (probably). Or maybe just an exchange of cold, hard cash in Mac's backyard if we fail to wear masks as a society and we can't get into restaurants. So let's wear our masks, socially distance, hope the MLB season gets done and all celebrate in style down the road safely.

As of Thursday afternoon, here's a working list of the show's wagers.

Most wins: Cubs or White Sox

The Cubs won 84 games in 2019 and made no additions of substance in the offseason. The White Sox won 72 games last season, then made high-profile additions in catcher Yasmani Grandal, left-hander Dallas Keuchel and designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion. Top prospect Luis Robert will also take over in center field on Opening Day.

The Cubs' over/under wins total is 32, per OddShark. The White Sox's is 31.5.

More total homers: Cubs duo of Kyle Schwarber/Javier Baez or White Sox duo of Jose Abreu/Eloy Jimenez

Schwarber (38) and Baez (31) combined for 69 homers in 2019. Abreu (33) and Jimenez (31) combined for 64.

More total strikeouts: Cubs' Yu Darvish or White Sox's Lucas Giolito

Darvish had 229 strikeouts in 178 2/3 innings in 2019, when he struck out 11.5 batters per nine innings. Giolito had 228 strikeouts in 176 2/3 innings last season, when he struck out 11.6 batters per nine innings.
