(670 The Score) As his offseason training continues, Bulls guard Zach LaVine took a few minutes to discuss his individual goals, coach Jim Boylen's contract extension, the team's outlook for 2018-'19 and more in an interview with 670 reporter David Schuster.

One of those personal goals is earning an All-Star berth, as the big event will be held at the United Center in Chicago next February. LaVine knows that is tied directly to team success as well as his own personal accomplishment.

"I feel like last year, I had All-Star numbers, but you have to win," LaVine said. "And I understand that. We need to get wins. You want to put that above everything, so I’m going to do my part. I’m going to make sure I do what I have to do on the court and do my job. I definitely have goals I’m looking forward to in the next few years.

"We’re ready for the season, to take this thing to the next level. We don’t want to be sitting here texting each other from different states in April. We want to be playing. You see how much more fun it is."
