(670 The Score) The White Sox have acquired first baseman Yonder Alonso in a trade with the Indians, sources confirmed to 670 The Score baseball insider Bruce Levine on Friday night.

In exchange, Chicago will send minor league outfielder Alex Call back to Cleveland. The trade is expected to be officially announced Saturday.

Alonso, 31, hit .250 with 23 home runs and 83 RBIs over 145 games last season for the Indians, who acquired first basemen Carlos Santana and Jake Bauers by trade earlier this week.

Notably, Alonso is the brother-in-law of star free-agent infielder Manny Machado, whom the White Sox will meet next week.

The White Sox made another move Friday, signing catcher James McCann to a one-year contract.
