White Sox Invite 20 To Spring Training

Pitchers and catchers report to White Sox camp on Feb. 13.

(670 The Score) The White Sox have invited 20 players to the team's 2019 spring training, including six free agents.

The team invited 14 players from inside the organization, including 2016 first-round pick Zack Collins and 2018 first-round pick Nick Madrigal. Among the most notable free agents joining the White Sox is right-hander Randall Delgado.

Delgado, 28, is 30-29 with a 4.10 ERA over 271 games in eight big league seasons. The White Sox also invited infielder Ryan Goins, infielder D.J. Peterson, infielder Matt Skole, right-hander Evan Marshall and right-hander Donn Roach.

The White Sox players from within the organization invited to camp are Collins, Madrigal, right-hander Jimmy Lambert, right-hander Zach Thompson, left-hander Bernardo Flores, left-hander Jordan Guerrero, left-hander Colton Turner, catcher Alfredo González, catcher Nate Nolan, infielder Danny Mendick, outfielder Luis González, outfielder Luis Robert, outfielder Blake Rutherford and outfielder Charlie Tilson.

Players on the 40-man roster such as outfielder Eloy Jimenez were already invited to camp. White Sox pitchers and catchers will report by Feb. 13. Position players hold their first workout on Feb. 18.
