(670 The Score) The Cubs will sign right-hander Kendall Graveman, according to 670 The Score's Bruce Levine. The agreement was first reported by ESPN.

The deal will be for $575,000 in 2019 and include a $3-million club option in 2020. It is major league deal and hasn't been made official by the Cubs.

Graveman, 28, is 23-29 with a 4.38 ERA in his career. He underwent Tommy John surgery this past summer and has spent the last four seasons with the Athletics.

The Cubs pulled a similar move in signing left-hander Drew Smyly to a deal last offseason as he was recovering from Tommy John surgery. Smyly was traded to the Rangers in early November.
