(670 The Score) Cubs ace Jon Lester will be activated from the injured list and start Thursday afternoon against the Dodgers at Wrigley Field, the team has announced.

Lester, 35, is 1-0 with a 2.57 ERA over three starts this season. He has been on the injured list since April 10 with a left hamstring strain, which he suffered running the bases during the bottom of the second inning in the Cubs' home opener on April 8.

The Cubs have mostly filled the void without Lester by working a four-man rotation. Tyler Chatwood worked in as the fifth starter for one game this past Sunday. The Cubs have won nine of their last 12 games since Lester suffered the injury.

Kyle Hendricks, Yu Darvish and Jose Quintana will follow Lester during this weekend's three-game series at Arizona.

Lester will oppose Dodgers right-hander Ross Striping, with first pitch Thursday at 1:20 p.m.
