(670 The Score) Bears star outside linebacker Khalil Mack and top receiver Allen Robinson both practiced in a limited fashion Friday, and each is listed as questionable to play against the Patriots on Sunday.

Mack (right ankle) was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday before working Friday in what was a lighter practice. Robinson practiced in a limited role Wednesday, was held out entirely Thursday and was back to the limited participation Friday. They are each trending toward playing against the Patriots.

The Bears operated with caution with Mack and Robinson, each hampered by their respective injuries that they suffered in the team's 31-28 overtime loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. For the first time in a Bears uniform, Mack finished without a sack, after his right ankle was rolled up during the second quarter in Miami. Robinson's soreness occurred during that game as well, forcing the Bears to scale back on his workload this week.

Mack is the Bears' team leader in sacks and takeaways with five apiece in five games. Robinson is the team's second-leading receiver with 24 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

Cornerback Bryce Callahan (ankle) didn't practice Friday, a new development on the injury report. Callahan is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Meanwhile, cornerback Marcus Cooper (hamstring) practiced in a limited role for a second straight day, though the team has listed him as doubtful.

The Bears didn't list cornerback Prince Amukamara (hamstring) or guard Eric Kush (neck soreness) on their game-status report. Both players were full participants Friday.

Kickoff between the Bears (3-2) and Patriots (4-2) comes at noon on Sunday from Soldier Field.
