(670 The Score) The turnover continues for the Bulls under new executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas.

The Bulls won't retain head athletic trainer Jeff Tanaka, Joe Cowley of the Sun-Times reported Wednesday. Tanaka's contract was up, and the decision to part ways with him was Karnisovas' call, the Sun-Times reported.

Tanaka had been with the Bulls since 2008 and in his head trainer position since 2014.

There have been a handful of exits since Karnisovas took over in mid-April. He fired longtime general manager Gar Forman shortly after officially being hired. Director of player development Shawn Respert has also left, saying he hopes to further his coaching career elsewhere.

Director of performance health Chip Schaefer will be retained by the Bulls, the Sun-Times reported.
