(670 The Score) Bulls reserve center Luke Kornet's season is likely over.

Medical testing revealed that Kornet has a left foot fracture in addition to a severely sprained ankle, the team said Thursday. Kornet is expected to miss six to eight weeks, which means his season is likely over. April 9 would represent the six-week mark, and the Bulls' regular-season finale is April 15.

Kornet suffered the injury during practice last Friday. His fracture is of the fifth metatarsal.

Kornet, 24, has averaged 6.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 15.5 minutes across 36 games, including 14 starts. He missed a little more than a week in late November and early December after undergoing sinus surgery, and he has been in and out of coach Jim Boylen's rotation.

Kornet signed a two-year, $4.5-million deal with the Bulls last summer, so he remains under contract for the 2020-'21 season.
