Brendan Perlini Named NHL's 2nd Star Of Week

Perlini had his first career hat trick in a win against the Coyotes last week.

(670 The Score) Blackhawks winger Brendan Perlini has been named the NHL's second star of the week, the league announced Monday.

Perlini had registered his first career hat trick in a win against the Coyotes last Monday. It was part of a three-game stretch last week in which he recorded five goals and two assists. 

Perlini also had a goal and two assists in Chicago's 5-4 win against Toronto on Wednesday. He has 13 goals and seven assists in 58 games this season.

Islanders goalie Thomas Greiss was the first star of the week, and Oilers center Connor McDavid was the third star of the week.
