Bears Sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix To 1-Year Deal
The addition comes after the Bears let Adrian Amos leave in free agency.
(670 The Score) The Bears have addressed their safety need.
Chicago has signed Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday afternoon. It will be worth $3.5 million, according to reports. His addition comes after the Bears let safety Adrian Amos walk to the Packers on a four-year deal worth up to $37 million. Amos had been a starter for the Bears for the past four years, but Clinton-Dix is now expected to start opposite of All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson.

Clinton-Dix, 26, spent his first four-and-a-half seasons with the Packers before he was traded to the Redskins last October. He had 93 tackles, three interceptions, six passes defended and a fumble recovery in 2018. He has started 16 games in each of the past four seasons and has 14 career interceptions in five seasons.
Clinton-Dix was a Pro Bowler in 2016. The Packers selected him with the 21st overall pick in the 2014 draft.
