(670 The Score) In another sign that starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will miss Chicago's game at Detroit on Thursday with a shoulder injury, the Bears promoted quarterback Tyler Bray from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday afternoon.

Trubisky has been officially designated as doubtful, with Chase Daniel in line to start. Bray will serve as the backup assuming Trubisky can't go.

Bray, 26, has thrown one pass in his NFL career, which dates back to 2013.
