(670 The Score) The Bears and receiver Bennie Fowler have agreed on a one-year deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Friday afternoon.

The move comes two days after Chicago allowed receiver Cam Meredith to leave for New Orleans in restricted free agency. Fowler, 26, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and has spent his first four seasons with the Broncos.

Fowler had 29 catches for 350 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games last season, including four starts. He has 56 career catches for an average of 12.5 yards per reception.

Fowler is the third receiver the Bears have added in free agency, after the much more high-profile additions of Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel.
