Cubs-Cardinals Game Postponed, Will Be Made Up Thursday

Rain is expected Wednesday afternoon in the Chicago area.

(670 The Score) The Cubs-Cardinals game scheduled to be played Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. has been postponed with rain expected in the afternoon in Chicago.

The teams will instead play at Wrigley Field on Thursday at 1:20 p.m. Fans don't need to exchange tickets, as those for Wednesday's game will be honored.

The marks the fifth game of the season that the Cubs have had postponed, including the third in the past four days.

Cubs left-hander Jon Lester is set to oppose Cardinals right-hander Luke Weaver. St. Louis took the series opener 5-3 on Tuesday evening.

All Cubs games can be heard on 670 The Score, which starts its pregame coverage at 12:45 p.m. Thursday.
