(670 The Score) The Bears will be without a pair of defensive backs as listed on an otherwise clean injury report ahead of their game against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Veteran cornerback Marcus Cooper suffered a hamstring injury in practice Thursday and will miss the game in Arizona, coach Matt Nagy told reporters at Halas Hall. After beginning last season as a starter at cornerback, Cooper has since been placed into a reserve role on the Bears' defense.

Safety DeAndre Houston-Carson practiced in a limited role but has been ruled out as his forearm fracture heals. Guard Kyle Long received a veteran's day of rest as part of a planned schedule by the team, though he will play in Sunday's game.

The Cardinals have ruled out tackle Andre Smith due to an elbow injury. The Cardinals will be tasked with containing the Bears' pass rush with reserve tackle John Wetzel in place of Smith.

Kickoff between the Bears and Cardinals comes at 3:25 p.m. CT Sunday from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
